The Persians occupied Egypt once again, and the Persian Emperor took the pharaoh's titles to confirm his control of Egypt. During that period, three Persian kings, Artaxerxes III, Artaxerxes IV, Dara III, who was named Sabaces and Mazaces, ruled as Satraps of Egypt. Mazaces was the last Satrap of Persia before Alexander the Great.
